Itchin' for a ride

Thu Apr 2, 2009, 2:08 AM
Well, I've been home for a few weeks, but work and family events have so far prevented me from taking a good long ride. No new upgrades to my baby yet, but I'm looking at upgrading the brakes in the near future. New calipers, braided lines and possibly fitting the new rims while I'm at it. Time will tell if I can get it done before my friend moves to Wagga Wagga (about 4hrs ride away). When he does I will be visiting every second weekend, meaning lots of wear and tear on the cycle. In order to protect the project bike I am purchasing a second cycle for lng trips. I'm thinking Hayabyusa.

Only humans can turn something that is supposed to create a new life, into something so dirty, so cruel, and so wrong.
Robots can't take over the world if no one builds them. And who's the only species that can build robots? Humans.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's home to me and I walk alone...

Aah Nation. Another Pratchett masterpiece, though not a Diskworld book. I highly recommend purchasing it at your earliest juncture. Or sooner.
